Here at the Marianne Clyde Center for Holistic Psychotherapy, we are committed in offering opportunities for complete healing. In order to do that, sometimes a workshop or group can support the healing process. With that in mind, we periodically offer such activities.

Lunch and Learn Series

45 minute learning opportunity 12:15-1 pm~Bring your lunch and enjoy the message!
- September 19th: “Back to school, back to taking care of you” We all love the the warmth of summer and all the family togetherness, right? Yet, we may find ourselves depleted by the time our kids go back to school. Come learn to recharge and replenish yourself. We will discuss common “summer frustrations” that can spill into the school year, along with sharing useful tools to help you manage the stress, and reconnect to the importance of taking care of you!
- October 17th: “Harvesting gratitude” As we celebrate the Harvest and reap what has been planted, we will learn why planting the seed of daily gratitude provides us with so many rich life long benefits for weathering any season of our lives. We will give you useful ideas on how to personally practice a daily ritual of gratitude.
- November 21: “How not to eat what’s eating you” The Holidays are a time for family gatherings, yet many times they are filled with old hurts, and unhealthy family dynamics. We will discuss these common pitfalls and give you useful mindfulness techniques to keep you focused on the present and the value of who you are. These tools keep us from mindless and emotional eating so we can enjoy the true meaning of the holidays.
- December 19th: “Wrap up the season in a pretty bow” Many times with the hustle and bustle of the season, we become stressed and overwhelmed, losing the joy that is meant to be experienced during the Holiday Season. Learn how to stop and take in the beauty and experience the true meaning of the Holidays with guided imagery and meditation techniques.

Come, sit with me and enjoy the beauty of meditation. In this workshop we will explore meditation — its benefits, how-tos, and various techniques.
