Whether I am working with an individual, a couple or a whole family, I stress the importance of healing for the individual. Working from the premise that we cannot fully love someone in a healthy way if we are not healthy ourselves, I address each person’s personal issues privately and teach them to incorporate them into the family structure in a meaningful, respectful way.
I help clients strengthen their relationships by learning to understand the situation objectively, improving communication skills and implementing a more healthy lifestyle in all respects.
We all have beliefs formed early in life that can cause us to react in a way that is more “knee jerk” than mindful. This reactive behavior can wreak havoc with our current relationships, our jobs and our lives.
I work with clients to find the source of the current pain or dysfunction in his or her belief system and replace faulty beliefs with truth. Once faulty thought processes are replaced with strong, true, healthy beliefs, the behaviors that are causing the problem are easy to change.
Whether the issue is an addiction, anger, anxiety, depression, dysfunctional relationships or trauma, all issues are based on the way we view ourselves, our needs and the how we form our expectations. Once these things are changed, behavior changes come naturally.
In order to achieve your goals quickly and efficiently, I often provide intensive sessions. Three half days (12 hours of therapy) gives a client the chance to deeply explore the cause of distress and resolve issues in a timely manner, instead of stretching therapy over many weeks and months.
Many clients opt for two or three hour sessions for a few weeks. We work together on a plan that works for you.
My standard fee is $125 per hour.
A 3-day intensive (12 hours of powerful, practical, life-changing one-on-one therapy) is $1500.
